New York, NY – August 3, 2010 – Lollipop Theater Network and Universal Pictures are proud to present a special sneak-peek screening of Nanny McPhee Returns on August 17^th at AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 in New York City.  Proceeds will benefit the Lollipop Theater Network, an organization that brings the magic of movies, currently in theatrical release, to children confined to hospitals nationwide due to chronic and life-threatening illnesses.  The screening will be followed by a reception at Josephina’s.  Guests will be joined by Nanny McPhee Returns’ starsEmma Thompson and Maggie Gyllenhaal, director Susanna White, producer Lindsay Doran, as well as the host committee, Ellen & Dan Crown and Jenna Wolfe.  Tickets to the screening are $50, and there will be a limited amount of tickets to both the screening and reception available for $100.  Guests must RSVP by August 13^th at rsvp@lollipoptheater.org or by calling 310.235.2772.  The family comedy opens August 20^th.

Founded in 2001, Lollipop Theater Network (LOLLIPOP) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing the magic of movies to the children who need it the most.  Working in collaboration with the leading motion picture studios, LOLLIPOP brings current film releases into hospitals for group and bedside screenings.  To bring these special children a feeling of having their own “premiere,” LOLLIPOP rolls out the red carpet, hands out movie tickets, offers refreshments, distributes studio promotional items and features guest appearances by the stars of the films, whenever possible.

LOLLIPOP has screened more than 200 films in 18 states, facilitates talent visits and coordinating activities, and has added a music program, Rhythm of Hope.

San Francisco, CA - July 12, 2010 – The gorgeous, panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay will serve as the backdrop for LCD Soundsystem and Belle & Sebastian when they headline The 2010 Treasure Island Music Festival presented by Noise Pop and Another Planet Entertainment. The fourth annual festival, which takes place on Treasure Island over two days - October 16^th and 17^th – will carry on the tradition of featuring some of the music world’s most exciting artists.  This year’s stellar lineup, in addition to LCD Soundsystem and Belle & Sebastian (making their first Bay Area appearance in four years), is a who’s who of the dance/electronic and indie rock worlds, including The National, Broken Social Scene, She & Him, Deadmau5, Kruder & Dorfmeister (live) (with one of their first U.S. performances since 2001), Miike Snow, !!!, Superchunk, Surfer Blood, Die Antwoord, Little Dragon, Four Tet, Rogue Wave, Ra Ra Riot, Monotonix, Phantogram, The Sea & Cake, Phosphorescent, Holy Fuck, Jamaica, Wallpaper, Papercuts, Maus Haus and The Mumlers.  (See full list below.)

Selected for its stunning, picturesque views, Treasure Island lays just off the coast of Yerba Buena Island in the San Francisco Bay.  When the festival of the same name began in 2007, it quickly became one of the premiere music events of the fall concert season thanks to its consistently fresh and exciting lineups (the festival has never repeated an act) and its intimate feel.  A sellout crowd of just over 12,000 music fans per day descended on the decommissioned naval base last year to see headliners MGMT and The Flaming Lips.  By splitting each day into genre-specific artists – the first day features dance/electronic artists, while the second features indie rock bands – the festival has previously hosted a wide range of acclaimed artists since its inception, including M.I.A., Modest Mouse, The Raconteurs, Justice, Spoon, Thievery Corporation, Vampire Weekend, Girl Talk, MSTRKRFT, The Decemberists and many more.

In addition to providing music lovers with the coolest artists and an incredible setting, Treasure Island Music Festival ensures that attendees never miss a note of music.  With two stages that alternate between bands, rather than having them play simultaneously, concert-goers have the chance to literally hear every note of every artist for the entire weekend.   When not watching bands, festival attendees can hop over to the Treasure Chest, the festival’s interactive village full of games, a live mural wall, a photo booth, local craft vendors and more.  This,combined with a 60 ft.
